Facebook

I love Facebook. I'm probably on Facebook 4-5 times a day minimum. I like making statuses and I like it when people "like" what I have written. Sometimes, I get way to caught up in what people think. I create a well-thought-out status, and no one comments. I'm sure if you're a Facebooker, you've felt this before. Facebook has made us rate our worth on other people. We also spend our lives craving to know that latest news. If we have the juiciest piece of info that we just got approved as "Facebook official", we are a hero for announcing it to everyone and looking smart. I love Facebook, and it helps me in many ways, but I'm challenging myself today to look at Facebook in a different light. I need to look at Facebook as a way to serve others, not myself. It's easy to get selfish and want attention through Facebook. If we change our point of view, we'll see that Facebook is a tool that we need to use to help others. Others see what we have written or posted, and it affects them in some way. Today, I'm going to try harder to post things on Facebook that will uplift others, and not try to draw attention to myself.
